Jennifer and the band have been hitting quite a few new venues this summer and the results have been outstanding. Crowds are growing with enthusiasm at every return too and the reviews just keep getting better. On Friday's 7/21 The Asheville Citizen Times said "See This Show. How Clear Can we make this. Singer-songwriter Jennifer Brantley and her band is one of the best new acts we've heard this year." Jennifer has been really blowing up on Myspace. She's racked up over 10,000 friends now and gets flooded daily with fan mail. People are not only emailing after local shows but she's getting a lot of emails from overseas too. Even Hank III dropped a few words of encouragement. Jennifer and the band also landed a coveted spot on Billy Blocks Western Beat show at 12th & Porter in Nashville on Aug 29. Billy agreed to have her on early for a few tunes, based on a couple of recommendation's, but when he heard the new CD, He moved her to a better time slot and told her to do more songs. He also will feature "Nothing Can Take The Place" on his nationally syndicated radio show. The song is from the new CD.
